What is up with people's bad driving? We were in the HOV lane this morning, stuck behind someone driving far below the speed limit and holding up traffic. When we finally got around him, like all the others that he was holding up, he gives us the finger. For no reason. It wasn't like we were riding his bumper or being annoying. Because of traffic we weren't able to get fully around him so we had to get behind him once more until there was enough space in the other lane to get around him. When we did, the woman in the back seat is then giving us the finger while screaming something and he's making clapping gestures. What is up with that? There was absolutely no reason for their behavior. I could understand it if we were being assholes or something...but we weren't. They had a hockey sticker on their bumper so that might explain things. I don't hold most sports fans in the most highest regard. It's the old adage of tiny genitalia...or something.
It must be a crazy tide day or something. I then counted no less than 15 single occupant vehicles in the HOV lane. I don't usually have an issue with the one's that drive fast enough in the lane as to not hold up traffic. But the one's that hold everyone else up and shouldn't be there to begin with...they piss me off. I wish the police would put up a phone number that you could call and report people that drive the HOV and shouldn't be there. After 3 reports on the same license plate the person gets a ticket or something. The Barnett is NEVER policed during rush hour. It really makes the drive in that much more frustrating.
Maybe I'll start putting people's license plate numbers in my blog and let off a bit of steam that way. Who knows...maybe someone will read the numbers and do something with them.
